Launch Engineer - Automated Manufacturing
Innotec, a high-growth, unique and fully automated West Michigan manufacturer of products for multiple industries, including; automotive, furniture, and appliance is selectively seeking an experienced, hands-on engineer. Successful candidates will have a desire to work in a fast paced environment based on trust and integrity and an interest in a hands-on approach to business. Interested applicants should have a passion for manufacturing and innovation, as well as a desire for a broad scope of daily responsibilities. In addition to these qualities we are looking for someone with the following characteristics and qualifications:
- Experience with product or process innovations and a perpetual drive toward learning
- Proven results towards continuous improvements and a consistent progression in roles and responsibilities
- Familiarity with many different aspects of the manufacturing process, i.e. product/machine design and build, launch, quoting, price negotiation, customer interaction, etc…
- Proven self-directed Project Management skills while consistently hitting deadlines
- Proven leadership ability and desire to work in a team based atmosphere
- Ability and willingness to work up to 70% of time on the floor to help determine and correct issues, improve processes, and create or maintain successful programs
- 3+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing setting
- Industry specific experience is a plus, but not a requirement
